                        Annual General Meeting Statement



Milestone Group PLC ('Milestone'), the new cross media group focussed on local
markets, today held its Annual General Meeting at 12pm. All of the resolutions
itemised in the annual report were duly passed.

Following the completion of the meeting Andy Craig, Chief Executive, commented:

'Having integrated our publishing, radio and television assets acquired over the
past 12 months, as well as having disposed of some non-core businesses,
Milestone is well positioned to grow its local media advertising business.  We
have seen significant progress for cross selling on radio, television and
newspaper mediums, as announced at the time of preliminary results last month,
which is at the very core of our strategy.'
