                      Milestone Group PLC (the 'Company')

                   Notification of major interests in shares


The Company received notification on 4 October 2004 from Landfinance Limited, a
British Virgin Islands company, informing it that following a purchase of a
further 110,000 ordinary shares on 23 September 2004, they have a notifiable
interest in 2,300,000 ordinary shares representing 10.4 per cent. of the total
issued ordinary share capital of the Company. The current issued share capital
of the company is 22,105,095 shares.
