The Company is pleased to announce the establishment of the Milestone Foundation, registered Charity No 1152801 ("the Foundation").

The Foundation will underpin the Passion Project, the Company's youth engagement programme whose focus is to inspire young people, helping them identify their passions and natural skills then matching them with partners' training and vocational opportunities.

Milestone will use its media capabilities to aggregate and amplify the benefits and opportunities of a number of key strategic delivery partners.  

The Foundation will work where appropriate with sector specific partners and charities to deliver the desired social outcomes of the Passion Project on behalf of the Company.

The Foundation has been established to tackle three key social problems:

• Youth Unemployment
• Lack of safe spaces and activities
• Lack of activities to develop emotional intelligence

The charitable objectives of the Foundation are:

• Community participation in healthy recreation
• Advancement of education and relief of unemployment
• Promotion of social inclusion
• Other charitable purposes

Kevin Everett, one of Milestone's Non-Executive Directors, is a key player in the development of a number of Milestone's initiatives and will be taking the lead on the further development of the Foundation.

The Foundation will be run by a Board of Trustees, made up from Milestone Team members and independently appointed parties.
