London: Wednesday, 21 December 2016: Specialists in Data solutions, D4t4 Solutions Plc (AIM: D4T4) is pleased to announce that Matthew Tod has been appointed as an Executive Director to the Board of Directors, with immediate effect.

Matthew joined D4t4 in April 2016, to head up its new Data Insight practice. This division is successfully working with clients to overcome the "data everywhere but no insight" problem, enabling them to gain competitive advantage from their information assets. The practice delivers an end to end consulting and insight service, helping the Company's clients to create value from their customer information and better react to changing market conditions.

Matthew has over 25 years' experience in digital technologies, focused on customer analytics. Prior to joining D4t4 Matthew had established himself as a digital data expert within the key sectors of retail, e-commerce, mail-order, media, consumer goods and insurance. In 2002 Matthew founded Logan Tod & Company Limited, a leading European online business optimisation consultant with global blue-chip clients from retail and leisure to UK banks. Logan Tod & Company Limited was acquired in March 2012 by PwC and Matthew became a partner within PwC's Customer Consulting Group, where he helped build PwC's analytics and digital transformation strategy capabilities within retail and consumer sectors.

The following disclosures are required regarding Matthew Alexander Logan Tod's (aged 52) appointment pursuant to Rule 17 and Schedule Two paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies:

Matthew Tod has options over 250,000 ordinary shares of 2 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), representing approximately 0.67% of the current total voting rights in the share capital of the Company. These options were granted on 27 June 2016 (the "Grant Date") pursuant to the Company's EMI Share Option Scheme, have an exercise price of 113 pence per Ordinary Share, vest in three equal tranches over the three years following the Grant Date subject of certain performance criteria attached and remain valid for 10 years from the Grant Date. All the options also vest in an event that triggers a change in control.

No further disclosure is required under AIM Rule 17 and paragraph (g) to Schedule Two of the AIM Rules for Companies with respect to Matthew Tod.
