CLAIMS DIRECT COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF THE CLAIMS VETTING
OPERATION OF POOLE & CO. FOR £9.75 MILLION
Claims Direct Plc ('Claims Direct'), the UK market leader in
personal injury compensation, announces that it has completed
the acquisition of certain assets used in the claims vetting
business of Poole & Co. Solicitors. In addition, as outlined
in the company's prospectus, Poole & Co. will subcontract its
claims vetting business to Claims Direct. The consideration
paid by Claims Direct was £9.75 million.
Tony Sullman, Chairman of Claims Direct, said: 'These
arrangements provide a significant additional income stream
and will also allow us to greatly enhance the efficiency of
the Group's operations. Ultimately it will enable the claims
process to operate more smoothly by continuing to ensure that
only carefully pre-vetted cases are introduced into the
system.'
