Statement by Simon Ware-Lane

In response to recent press speculation, Simon Ware-Lane confirms that he is in
discussions that may or may not lead to the acquisition of shares in Claims
Direct, currently controlled by Barker Securities (the majority shareholder of
Claims Direct) and its principal shareholders, Messrs Sullman and Poole.
Negotiations are expected to conclude shortly at which time a further
announcement will be made.
