CAPITAL LEASE AVIATION PLC

('CLA' or the 'Company')

Transaction in own shares

CLA, the commercial passenger aircraft leasing company, announces that it purchased 500,000 ordinary shares at a price of 20.5p each in the Company on 21 October 2015 representing approximately 0.51 per cent of the Company's current issued ordinary share capital. These shares are to be held in treasury.

For the purposes of the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, following the share buyback, the total number of ordinary shares in issue as at the date of this notice is 97,899,172, with 3,693,689 shares held in treasury.

Therefore the figure of 94,205,483 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company, under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
