Celtic Club Statement.

Further to the announcement on 29 ^th January 2021 confirming that Dominic McKay will join Celtic FC as its new Chief Executive Officer on 1^st July 2021 following the retirement of Peter Lawwell on 30^th   June 2021 - https://www.celticfc.com/news/2021/january/Appointment-of-Dominic-McKay-as-Chief-Executive-Officer/-   Scottish Rugby have confirmed today that their Chief Operating Officer and the Chairman of the Guinness Pro14, Dominic McKay will leave Scottish Rugby on the 16 ^th  April following a successful handover. 

Peter Lawwell will continue in his role as Chief Executive Officer and board member at Celtic until 30^th June 2021.  Dominic McKay will join the Club from 19^th April 2021, working with Peter Lawwell and the Executive team to ensure a smooth transition, until Dominic McKay takes on the role of Chief Executive Officer and board member on 1^st July 2021.
