Directorate Changes

Cenkos announces that Peter Sullivan has notified the Board of his intention to retire as Non-executive Chairman to pursue his other business interests following the Company's Annual General Meeting on 10 May 2012.

The Board is pleased to announce that (subject to FSA approval), Gerry Aherne is to be appointed as a Non-executive Director with immediate effect and to the position of Non-executive Chairman following the Annual General Meeting. 

Gerry Aherne enjoyed a long career as a fund manager and was an executive Director of Schroder Investment Management Limited until 2002, managing both institutional segregated and pooled pension funds and unit trusts. He is currently Non-executive Chairman of Electric & General Investment Fund and is a Non-executive Director of Henderson Group plc and Mecom Group plc. In addition, he was an executive Director of Majedie Investments plc and Chief Executive and founder of Javelin Capital LLP until April 2011

Non-executive Director David Henderson has also expressed his intention to step down from the Board at the Annual General Meeting.

The Company is committed to maintaining a strong and effective Board working in the interest of Shareholders and it is expected that further Board appointments will be made in due course.

My external business commitments have grown in recent times and I feel it is now time for someone new to lead the Company to the next stage of its development.
