                   ADMINISTRATIVE COURT OF CAIRO PROCEEDINGS

As previously reported in the December 2003 Quarterly Report, the action
initiated by the Company in the Administrative Court in Cairo seeking a
resumption of work at the Sukari Project, was set down for a decision on the 8th
February 2004.

However, due to delays in processing other cases scheduled for the same day, the
Company was advised that the Court's decision was likely to be handed down on
Sunday the 15th February 2004.

Representatives of the Company attended the Court on Sunday the 15th February.
However, continuing delays in processing the backlog of other cases again
prevented the Court from handing down a decision. The directors remain confident
of a positive outcome in the near future and will advise the market as soon as a
finding is announced.
