Centamin Egypt Limited (the 'Company') exercise of March 2003 options


The transaction fee of 5%, previously reported in the Company's report for the
quarter ended 30 June 2002, to be paid to brokers for the early exercise of 3
March 2003 options will terminate with last applications received at the close
of business on the 31st of January 2003.



Any exercise applications received after that date will not entitle brokers to a
fee.
