Appointment of New Chairman and notice of AGM

Centaur Media plc (LSE: CAU), the multi-platform content group, is pleased to announce that Ron Sandler CBE will join the Board as a non-executive director and Chairman with effect from the Company's Annual General Meeting which will take place at 11.30 am on Wednesday 13 May 2015 at the Company's offices, Wells Point, 79 Wells St, London, W1T 3QN.

Ron Sandler currently chairs Ironshore and Towry and is a member of the advisory board of Palamon Capital Partners.

His early career was with the Boston Consulting Group. He was Chief Executive Officer of Lloyd's of London from 1995 until 1999, playing a key role in Lloyd's Reconstruction and Renewal, and subsequently Chief Operating Officer of NatWest Group. Ron is a past-president of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and in 2002 he led an independent review of the UK Long Term Savings Industry. He has been chairman of numerous companies, including Northern Rock, Phoenix Group and Paternoster.

The Company confirms that there is no further information about Ron Sandler requiring disclosure under paragraph 9.6.13 (2) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
