                      APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR


The Board of Centaur Media Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of
Christopher Satterthwaite as a non-executive director with effect from 1 July
2007.

Christopher is Group Chief Executive of Chime Communications Plc, the holding
company of a leading public relations, marketing services and research group.

Centaur Media Plc Chairman, Graham Sherren, said: "I am delighted that
Christopher has agreed to serve as a director of Centaur. His particular
experience in corporate communications and continuing role at Chime will be
invaluable to the group as it seeks to leverage its valuable brands over the
coming years".

There are no other matters relating to Christopher Satterthwaite that need to be
disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13.
