Posting of Circular and Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting
Further to its announcement on 27 June 2013, Central Asia Metals plc (AIM:CAML), a copper producing company focussed on base metals in Central Asia, announces that it is today posting to Shareholders a circular (the "Circular") containing, inter alia, details of a proposed allotment of new ordinary shares in consideration for the acquisition of the remaining 40 per cent. of the Kounrad Copper Project in Kazakhstan.
The Circular also contains formal notice (the "EGM Notice") of the Extraordinary General Meeting to be held at 10.00 a.m. on 23 July 2013 at the Company's offices at 4/5 Park Place, London SW1A 1LP, to consider and vote on the resolutions with respect to the proposed allotment (full details of which are set out in the EGM Notice.)
The Circular will also shortly be available for inspection at www.centralasiametals.com.
