announcement released 2 February 2000 at 17:28 under RNS No 9076E.
The quoted price per share should read 17p in each instance and not 16p as
previously stated. All other details remain unchanged.

Dinkie Heel announces that Martyn Stowey, a director, sold 5,000 ordinary
shares in the Company on 1 February 2000 at a price of 17p per share. M J
Stowey retains an interest in 1,235,899 ordinary shares.
In addition, on the same day Mrs C E Stowey, in whose shares Andrew Stowey - a
director of the Company - is deemed to be beneficially interested, sold 5,000
ordinary shares at 17p per share. A J Stowey retains an interest in 1,191,189
ordinary shares.
