Pursuant to section 198 of the Companies Act 1985, the Board of Dinkie Heel plc
(the 'Company') yesterday received notification that, as a result of a purchase
of 2,222,223 ordinary shares in the Company in the placing announced on 25
January 2005, Chelverton Growth Trust PLC has an interest in 8,792,823 ordinary
shares of the Company representing approximately 4.94% of the Company's issued
ordinary share capital.
