Application has been made for 19,400,000 Ordinary Shares of nominal value €0.025
each in the capital of Celtic Resources to be admitted to dealing on the
Exploration Securities Market of  the Irish Stock Exchange.  Of these Ordinary
Shares, 400,000 have been allotted pursuant to the exercise of options and
19,000,000 have been allotted following the placing announced on 27 May 2002.
