                            Significant shareholding

The Company was notified on 23 February 2006 that Deutsche Bank AG and its
subsidiary companies hold 6,617,929 ordinary shares in Celtic Resources which
represents 14.55 per cent. of its total issued ordinary share capital.


Deutsche Bank AG London Branch holds 293,010 shares and 6,324,919 shares are
now held by other Deutsche Bank group companies in customer portfolio, as
follows:
