                            Significant shareholding

The Company was notified on 30th September 2005 that Deutsche Bank AG and its 
subsidiary companies hold 2,213,323 ordinary shares in Celtic Resources, which 
represents 5.28 per cent. of the Company's total issued share capital.

Deutsche Bank AG London Branch holds 411,323 shares and 1,802,000 shares are now 
held by other Deutsche Bank group companies in customer portfolio, as follows:
