Senior Management Changes

Chaarat (AIM: CGH), the AIM-quoted exploration and development company with assets in the Kyrgyz Republic, is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Eger as Chief Financial Officer and Dmitry Yudin as Head of Strategy and Business Development. Chris and Dmitry will join the business by the end of this month.
Christopher has extensive financial, M&A and commercial expertise in the Metals and Mining sector, gained over a 20-year career in investment banking, metals trading and private equity. He was previously the Chief Financial Officer of Nyrstar NV, where he played a major role in developing and implementing the Company's transformation strategy in addition to strengthening the balance sheet. Prior to that, he was M&A Director at Trafigura AG and a member of the investment banking group of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he worked with metals and mining companies on debt and equity financing and M&A. He also worked as a Director in the Global Metals and Mining Group at BMO Capital Markets.
Dmitry was previously Managing Partner at ACG Amur Capital Group, an asset management and investment advisory firm specialising in Eurasian energy, metals and mining markets. For a decade prior to co-founding ACG, Dmitry served as a senior M&A and Strategy Executive at some of Russia's largest natural resource and industrial conglomerates including UC RUSAL and En+ Group, with direct involvement in a number of high-profile public and private market transactions. Earlier in his career, he worked in equity research and investment banking at Merrill Lynch, BNP Paribas and HSBC in London, covering Russia and the broader EMEA region. Dmitry will take charge of Chaarat's M&A pipeline execution.
Dorian (Dusty) Nicol, currently a Non-Executive Director at Chaarat, will be moving to an executive position as Technical Director and Head of Exploration with immediate effect. Dusty has over 40 years' experience in the mining sector and has been instrumental in supporting the exploration and construction of the Tulkubash Project and subsequent development of the Chaarat deposit.
Pete Gardner, Chaarat's current CFO, will leave the company, following a transitionary period.
