Bahamas Petroleum Company plc, the oil and gas exploration company with significant prospective resources in licences in The Commonwealth of The Bahamas announces that following the exercise of warrants for new ordinary shares of 0.002 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") granted in conjunction with the Company's placing to raise £1.1 million in May 2018, application has been made for 2,640,000 new ordinary shares (the "New Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to trading on AIM on or around 25 July 2018. The New Ordinary Shares will, when issued, rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary shares.
Upon issue of the New Ordinary Shares, the Company's issued share capital will consist of 1,572,719,096 ordinary shares of 0.002 pence each ("Ordinary Shares"), with each Ordinary Share carrying the right to one vote. The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury. The figure of 1,572,719,096 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders in the Company, as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules ("DTRs").
