Director Appointment
Chamberlin & Hill PLC is delighted to announce the appointment of Tom Brown as a
non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 12 September 2003.
Tom has a great deal of experience in the manufacturing sector. He is currently
Chairman of Dyson Group plc, the materials technology company, and of a number
of private companies. He was previously Group Chief Executive of United
Industries plc, and before that Group Managing Director of Fenner plc.
His early career was spent with GKN plc, where he became Managing Director of
operating companies in the UK and overseas. He also worked for McKinsey &
Company Inc, the American consulting firm.
Tom Brown was executive chairman of Hydra Tools International Limited within the
12 months preceding the receivership of that company on 13 October 2000.
There are no other matters which require to be disclosed pursuant to Listing
Rule 16.4.
