                    Result of Extraordinary General Meeting



The board of Chamberlin & Hill plc is pleased to announce that at the
Extraordinary General Meeting of the company held earlier today, the ordinary
resolution to approve the acquisition by the company's subsidiary, Platt
Malleable Castings Limited of the business, assets and liabilities of Russell
Castings from Elliott Industries Limited, was duly passed and that the
acquisition has now been completed.
