NEW CHAIRMAN

In line with the plan for Board succession set out in the Interim Statement last
November, Chamberlin & Hill PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Tom
Brown as the new non-executive Chairman of the Board with effect from 1 March
2004.

Lord Eccles, Chairman since 1983, will remain on the Board as a non-executive
Director but will not be seeking re-election at the AGM in July 2004.
