Double Success for Character in Dream Toys 2009
The Toy Retailers Association ("TRA") has announced this morning it has placed two of Character's products in its 'Hot Dozen' for Christmas 2009.
The Christmas hotlists represent six categories: boys; girls; pre-school; hip'n'kool; creative; and games from the UK's leading toy manufacturers. Within these listings announced by the TRA, Character has the following toys tipped for overall success:
Go Go Pets (an ever-growing collection of electronic interactive hamsters that are cute, cuddly and incredibly playful, but without all the mess and fuss of real pets. They really are the perfect pet that parents and children can finally agree on!)
Peppa Pig Princess Palace. (This amazing Palace is a home fit for Princess Peppa! Her beautiful Palace folds out to reveal a banqueting hall and many other rooms and accessories including, King & Queen thrones, beds, table & chairs, cauldron and two exclusive guardsmen to protect Peppa and her Royal Family!)
TRA has also revealed that within the six categories, each listing 12 different products, Character's toys and games feature a further three times:
Boys: Armed Forces Tank
Pre-School: Post Man Pat Vehicles
Creative: Fruit Factory
Richard King, Chairman of The Character Group said:
"Once again, we are delighted to have received further recognition in the only official prediction of Christmas best-sellers."
"This accolade gives us confidence in maintaining our position as one of the largest players in the UK toy and games market."
Jon Diver, Joint Managing Director of The Character Group commented:
"We are delighted that five of our products have been selected in the Dream Toys categories and that two have made the prestigious 'Hot Dozen' toys for Christmas 2009. This is a great endorsement of the quality and play value of the toys we produce at Character."
