The Character Group plc ('Character' or 'the Company')
Transfer to AIM - Update

Following the passing of a special resolution of Character approving the
cancellation (the 'Cancellation') of the admission of the Group's issued
Ordinary Shares of 5p each ('Ordinary Shares') to the Official List of the UK
Listing Authority ('UKLA') at the EGM held on 29 November 2005, the Cancellation
has now become effective and dealings in the issued Ordinary Shares may no
longer be effected on the London Stock Exchange's market for listed securities.
Trading in the issued Ordinary Shares on the London Stock Exchange's AIM market
commenced today.
