Elektron Technology plc (the "Company") was notified on 8^th November 2011 that following purchases of ordinary shares in the Company on 4^th November and 7^th November 2011, Panther Securities Plc has a total combined interest in 4,400,000 ordinary shares in the Company, comprising of 2,300,000 shares held by Panther Securities PLC and 2,100,000 shares held by Maland Pension Fund.  This combined holding represents approximately 4.13% of the total voting rights in the Company.
