Launch of new range of waterproof connectors

Elektron Technology plc (AIM: EKT, "Elektron" or the "Group"), the developer of fast moving engineered products with market leading positions in connectivity, instrumentation and monitoring and control markets, announces that its electrical connectivity brand, Bulgin, has launched its new range of rugged electrical connectors.

The new Buccaneer 6000 Series of waterproof power, signal and data connectors is designed to withstand the harshest environments whilst conforming to the highest industry standards. It features a unique, easy to use, push-pull locking system, and reduces the time taken to achieve a robust, fully waterproof seal by a factor of up to 10 times compared to a traditional screw-thread mechanism.

The new series of connectors will be available through Elektron's global distribution network from August 2012.
