CHEMRING GROUP PLC ('Chemring' or the 'Company')


Blocklisting


Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock
Exchange for admission to the Official List for the block listing of 125,000
ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company.  These shares, which rank pari passu
with the existing ordinary shares in issue, may be issued from time to time
pursuant to the award over 125,000 shares made to Dr David Price on 7 April
2005.  It is expected that admission will become effective on 31 March 2006.
