Chemring Group PLC ("Chemring" or "the Company") announces that it has today granted, pursuant to The Chemring Group 2008 UK Sharesave Plan, options over 12,162 1p ordinary shares in the capital of the Company to Andrew Lewis, a director of the Company. The options will be exercisable in three years time at an exercise price of 148p per share.
