Amanda Street Appointed as Non-Executive Director

Christie Group plc is pleased to announce the appointment today of Amanda
Street, 42 as a non-executive Director.  This will bring the number of
non-executive Directors of the Company to four.

Amanda Street, a senior executive of Hewlett-Packard, was based in Europe
throughout the '90s and has recently returned to the U.K.  Amanda has extensive
experience of sales, marketing, human resources, strategic relations and global
operations.
