WANdisco announces hire of SVP of marketing

Appointment will help grow WANdisco's expanding LiveData Platform

WANdisco (LSE: WAND), the LiveData company, announces the appointment of Joel S. Horwitz as the SVP of Marketing. Mr. Horwitz will be based in the Company's Silicon Valley headquarters.

Mr. Horwitz brings extensive enterprise marketing, business development, and product strategy experience. Most recently, he was the Global Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Offerings for IBM's Digital Business Group. Prior to IBM, Mr. Horwitz led various startups, achieving growth through the introduction of platform partnerships, self-service offerings, and programmatic digital marketing.

This new role and hire comes at a time when WANdisco is expanding its LiveData Platform, aiming to offer data accessibility and availability in heterogeneous cloud data environments. The Company's recent launch of LiveData for MultiCloud offers replication of data at petabyte scale, and leverages WANdisco's strategic partnerships with the major cloud services providers.

Mr. Horwitz brings strategic expertise and experience to WANdisco at a time when the cloud ecosystem is entering a new stage of its development. He will be a key part in ensuring that WANdisco's LiveData platform becomes the future of multi-cloud operations, and the launch pad for the next generation of data processing.
