As announced in our 2010 Annual Report and Accounts, Sir Keith Stuart is retiring from the Board of The City of London Investment Trust with effect from today's date. 

The Board wishes to thank Sir Keith for his invaluable contribution and counsel during his 11 years' directorship.

With effect from 1 April 2011, Mr Richard Hextall will be the Chairman of the Audit Committee.
