City of London (LSE: CLIG), a leading specialist asset management group offering a range of institutional and retail products investing primarily in closed-end funds, announces that the Company's Employee Benefit Trust purchased 100,000 ordinary shares of 1p each on 12 October 2023 at a price of £3.49707 per share.   

 

Following these purchases, the Trust holds 2,089,355 ordinary shares in the Company representing 4.1% of the Company's issued capital, of which 1,003,944 (2.0% of the Company's issued capital) is held in custody for employees under the terms of the Employee Incentive Plan (EIP).
