ISSUE OF SHARES FROM TREASURY
The Board of Civitas Social Housing PLC, the leading care-based social housing REIT, (the "Company") is pleased to announce that on 24 March 2021, it has sold from treasury 250,000 ordinary shares of £0.01 each for cash at a price of 109.8 pence per share and at a premium to the prevailing net asset value.
Following this transaction, the Company's issued share capital is 622,461,380 ordinary shares, comprising 621,896,380 ordinary shares in circulation and 565,000 ordinary shares held in treasury, which do not carry any voting rights. Accordingly, the total voting rights in the Company are 621,896,380. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the purposes of calculating whether or not they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
