Purchase of Shares in Closed Period
Civitas Social Housing Plc (the "Company") announces that the Company has entered a closed period in respect of the publication of its Annual Report for the year ended 31 March 2022 (the "Closed Period").
Pursuant to the share buyback authority approved by the Company's shareholders at the AGM on 22 September 2021, the Board has granted authority to the Company's joint brokers, Panmure Gordon (UK) Limited and Liberum Capital Limited, to purchase the Company's ordinary shares ("Ordinary Shares") in the market during the Closed Period, subject to pre-agreed parameters. Any Ordinary Shares purchased during the Closed Period will be held in treasury to the extent permitted by law or cancelled.
The authority granted is irrevocable and non-discretionary, and during the Closed Period the Board has no power to invoke any changes to the authority and any purchases will be undertaken at the sole discretion of Panmure Gordon (UK) Limited and Liberum Capital Limited.
