Acquisition of Cofimar SAS
Clarkson PLC announces that it has acquired the remaining 51% interest, that it
does not currently own, in the dry cargo broker Cofimar SAS for a total
consideration of US$2.5 million.
The total consideration will be satisfied by the issue of shares and as a
result, application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London
Stock Exchange for admission to the Official List for a listing of 129,107
Ordinary Share of £0.25 each. These shares, ranking pari passu in all respects
with the existing shares in issue, will be allotted to Messrs Richou and Poux.
It is expected that admission of the Ordinary shares will become effective on 22
May 2007.
