Channel Freight Ferries Closes Service
Clarkson PLC ('Clarksons'), the world's leading shipping services group, today
announces that their wholly owned subsidiary Channel Freight Ferries Limited ('
CFF') will be ceasing its daily Southampton- Radicatel sailings on December 16
2005.
It is estimated that CFF's operating loss for the year to 31 December 2005 will
be circa £2.5million before exceptional costs arising from its closure.
The vessel presently used on the service, the MV 'CFF Seine', will be
re-deployed.
