BOARD CHANGE

Close Brothers Group plc announces that Michael McLintock, having served seven years as a non-executive director, yesterday retired from the board as planned. The search for a replacement independent non-executive director is underway.

The board thanks Michael for his significant contribution to Close Brothers during his time as a member of the board.
