Close Brothers Group plc - Total Voting Rights and Capital
In accordance with transitional provision 6 of the Transparency Directive, we
notify the market that the issued share capital of Close Brothers Group plc as
at 10.00am Friday 29th December, 2006 consists of 146,953,795 ordinary shares,
all of which have voting rights on the basis that each share has one vote. The
company does not hold any ordinary shares in treasury. Consequently, the figure
of 146,953,795 may be used by shareholders (and others with notification
obligations) as the denominator for the calculations by which they will
determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their
interest in, Close Brothers Group plc under the FSA's Disclosure and
Transparency Rules.
