The following replaces the announcement 'Acquisition of own shares' made at
07.00 this morning under RNS number 6035S. The highest price paid per share was
460.2056 pence per share. The full amended text is given below.


                        CLS Holdings plc ('the Company')

                           Acquisition of own shares

The Company announces that, pursuant to its general authority by shareholders of
the Company on 10 May 2005 to make market purchases of its own shares, the
Company made market purchases of 337,000 Ordinary shares on 12 October 2005 (to
be held as treasury shares). The lowest price paid was 460 pence per share and
the highest price paid was 460.2056 pence per share.

The Company now holds 4,042,581 Ordinary Shares in treasury and the total number
of shares in issue less the total number of Ordinary shares held in treasury
following the purchase and non-cancellation of such Ordinary shares is
81,484,596 Ordinary shares.
