Purchase of Own Securities

CLS Holdings plc ('the Company')

In accordance with paragraph 15.9 of the Listing Rules, I would like to inform
you that the Company has made the following purchases of its own equity shares
pursuant to the tender offer dated 29 October 1999:

1    The purchases were made on 30 November 1999.

2    The number of equity shares purchased was 1,593,159 ordinary shares of     
    25p each in the capital of the company.

3    The price paid for each share was 185p.

4    All of the minimum tendered shares comprising one for every sixty-five     
    Ordinary Shares in issue were accepted in full.  Shareholders who           
   tendered more than their minimum entitlement have had one share              
  accepted for every 445 shares tendered in excess of their minimum             
 amount.
