LETTER TO COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Purchase of Own Shares

On 14 February 2000 CLS Holdings plc purchased 3,652,047 of its own shares at a
price of 160 pence per share.

This increases the net asset value per share to 247 pence from 243.9 pence.

The ratio of the proposed tender offer buy-back has been incorrectly reported in
some newspapers this morning.  We are proposing to buy back 1 in 40 shares at a
price of 185 pence per share.
