                            Purchase of Own Shares


On 28 March 2001 CLS purchased 450,000 Ordinary Shares at 228p per share under
its existing authority to make market purchases. Following the cancellation of
these 450,000 Ordinary Shares, CLS's issued share capital now stands at
107,694,753 Ordinary Shares.
