Trillium (Prince) Property GP Ltd has taken a new lease of 4,366 sq m (46,997 sq ft) at Chancel House for a term of 16 years and 3 months from 25 December 2001 at an initial rent of £430,740 p.a. (£98.65 per sq m, £9.16 per sq ft), with upwards only RPI linked rent reviews every 5 years. This is an increase of 32 per cent over the previous rent of £326,566 p.a. The property will continue to be occupied by the Department of Works and Pensions. CLS has re-let the fifth floor of Ingram House to Property Intelligence plc for a term expiring in April 2003 at a rent of £82,886 p.a. (£522 per sq m, £48.50 per sq ft), an increase of 93 per cent over the previous rent of £28,320 p.a. Finally, at Rueil 2000, 15/21 Avenue Edouard Belin, 92500 Rueil Malmaison, Paris, Cardif S.A. (B.N.P. Paribas Group) has taken a new institutional lease of 419 sq m (4,510 sq ft) at an annual rent of FRF 873,615 (£83,201), FRF 2,085 per sq m (£12.90 per sq ft). This represents an increase of 47 per cent over the previous rent of FRF 595,421 (£56,707).
