Change of Directors' Interests
Guinness Peat Group ("GPG") announces the following changes in Directors' interests following the allotment of shares on 5 June 2009 pursuant to the 2009 Capitalisation Issue:
1.	Interests in the ordinary shares of Guinness Peat Group plc

2.	Interests in options over the ordinary shares of GPG under the Company's share option schemes
	As a result of the 2009 Capitalisation Issue, under which a bonus issue of new shares was made at the rate of 1 new share for every 10 shares held, options held under the Company's share option schemes have also been adjusted. As a consequence Directors' interests in the Company's share options are now as follows:
