Board Changes
Coats Group plc ("Coats" or the "Company"), the world's leading industrial thread and footwear components manufacturer, announces that it has received notice from Heather Lawrence, Non-Executive Director of the Company, of her intention to step down from the Board with effect from 31 March 2023 and therefore not to seek election at the Company's AGM in May 2023.
David Gosnell, Chair of the Company, stated: "In the short time Heather has been with us, she has made a meaningful contribution to the Board. She has also visited our world class operations and Innovation Centre in Turkey as well as attending our annual global leadership conference. On behalf of the Board, I wish Heather every success for the future."
As a result of the above, Nicholas Bull, FCA, will continue to act as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee until further notice.
