The Directors of Close Brothers AIM VCT PLC (the 'Company') announce that as a
result of publication of Net Asset Values on a weekly and month end basis to a
Regulatory Information Service, they consider that all inside information
during the closed period will have been declared to the market. As a result, the
Company will continue to purchase its own shares.

Should the Board become aware of any additional inside information during the
closed period, the Company will not make purchases of its own shares.

The closed period will operate from 1 March 2008 until the date of announcement
of the final results for the year ended 28 February 2008.
