The Board of Close Brothers AIM VCT PLC announces that as at 4 July 2007, the
unaudited net asset values of the Ordinary shares and the 'D' shares were
approximately 85.90 pence per share and 131.40 pence per share respectively.

These became ex-dividend on 4 July 2007 and these net asset values per share
therefore account for the 2.5 pence dividends. These dividends will be paid on 3
August 2007 to shareholders on the register as at 6 July 2007.
