The Board of Close Brothers AIM VCT PLC announces that as at 1 August 2007, the
unaudited net asset values of the Ordinary shares and the 'D' shares were
approximately 82.95 pence per share and 130.20 pence per share respectively.

These net asset values per share are after deducting the dividends of 2.5 pence
on each class of share which will be paid on 3 August 2007 to shareholders on
the register as at 6 July 2007.
